The WS-560M from Olympus is one nifty little gadget that packs a punch when it comes to specification. Measuring just 98.4 x 11 mm the WS-560M packs in 4 gigabytes of memory (enough for over 1,000 hours of recordings), and LCD display, noise cancellation technology and so much more!

Recording quality on this light but sturdy gadget is more than adequate for recording meetings, interviews or notes for yourself even on long play mode.

It also features a retractable USB connection meaning you can plug it into any computer with a USB port without having to remember any cables! Whilst it's plugged into the computer it will also charge the AAA rechargeable battery that's included.

It's also capable of recording Windows Media Audio files, and WAV's and MP3's, which the WS-560M also plays back. That's not only handy when it comes to file compatibility, but it makes the recorder ideal for saving a few songs to when you're inbetween interviews!

Recording is possible using the built in stereo microphones, but can also be taken up a notch or two thanks to it's 3.5mm sockets an external microphone and headphones.
